DASHealth Dx is a national mobile phlebotomy and diagnostic specimen collection service. We bring certified technicians to people at home, at work, in care facilities, and at community health events so ordered testing gets completed.
Formerly the commercial operations of NPPN (National Phlebotomy Provider Network), DASHealth Dx continues the mission of making diagnostic testing easier to access and easier to complete. NPPN is now transitioning into a nonprofit focused on training and advocacy.

Tim Cajka
Tim Cajka has 25 years of experience in business development and operational strategy within healthcare service organizations, including diagnostics, life sciences, clinical trials, and mobile care delivery.
As a Senior Advisor at Dash Health, Tim is responsible for expanding strategic relationships, client partnerships, and advancing innovation in the mobile diagnostic field.
Tim has held senior positions at Quest, Phleb-Finders, IQVIA, DaVita, and LifeLine Screening, where he contributed revenue growth and operational efficiency.
His career includes managing U.S. field operations for national clinic networks, expanding mobile health services both nationally and internationally, and overseeing M&A readiness and post-acquisition integration.
Tim has expertise in operational management and patient-centric service models.
He earned a BS in Business/Marketing from San Diego State University and serves on the executive boards of Volunteers-in-Medicine and Classics 4 Kids. Based in San Diego, Tim applies his business skills and commitment to community impact in his role at Dash Health.

Kathryn E. Nuñez
Kathryn E. Nuñez is a healthcare marketing and sales strategist with over 40 years of experience driving revenue growth and operational efficiency across diagnostics, biotech, and clinical lab services. At Dash Health, she leads marketing strategy, brand development, and customer journey optimization to support scalable growth across patient, practitioner, and lab segments.
Prior to joining Dash, Kathryn held senior leadership roles at Hematogenix, Quest Diagnostics, and Ameripath, where she built high-performing sales teams, expanded international markets, and executed go-to-market strategies in oncology diagnostics, molecular testing, and companion diagnostics.
She has led multi-regional and global expansion efforts, including launching service delivery in Latin America and Asia, and managing multimillion-dollar territories for national and specialty labs.
With a background in biology and clinical laboratory science, Kathryn combines deep industry knowledge with a sharp eye for data-driven growth. Her experience spans complex stakeholder environments—from health systems and IDNs to niche specialty labs and concierge practitioners—positioning her as a key leader in Dash Health’s mission to transform mobile diagnostic care.

Nathan Cron
Nathan Cron is a mission-driven healthcare leader and industry pioneer dedicated to improving access to diagnostic care. As the founder and President of The National Phlebotomy Provider Network (NPPN)
Nathan has spent over 20 years building the nation's leading specimen collection network, bridging the gap between patients and critical diagnostic services.
His healthcare journey began in patient care, working with developmentally delayed and physically disabled individuals before serving as a medic in the Army National Guard. He later transitioned to clinical laboratory leadership, gaining experience at San Francisco General Hospital, UCSF, Hunter Laboratories, and CareDx. Nathan has also served as a specimen management consultant and research project manager for Aceris Research and has advised private CROs and university research teams at Stanford and UC Berkeley. His expertise in legal cases involving phlebotomy standards and best practices has been sought.
With a deep-rooted commitment to patient-centered care, Nathan has led NPPN’s growth into the premier provider of mobile phlebotomy services. His vision ensures that every patient receives the highest standard of care, just as he would want for his own family. Under his leadership, NPPN continues to expand its impact, setting new benchmarks for quality and accessibility in diagnostic healthcare.

Barbara Ren
Barbara is a seasoned healthcare operations professional with over 15 years of experience in clinical diagnostics, mobile phlebotomy services, and team leadership. As Operations Manager, Customer Relationships and HR at Dash Health,
Barbara plays a dual role in ensuring exceptional service delivery while helping to shape a high-performing, people-first organizational culture.
Barbara began her career as a Medical Laboratory Technician at University Medical Center in Las Vegas, where she gained deep expertise in microbiology, hematology, and lab operations.
She later played a foundational role in building The National Phlebotomy Provider Network from the ground up, managing a team of 35+ mobile technicians and supporting the company’s growth into a multi-million-dollar national provider.
In addition to optimizing daily operations and logistics, Barbara leads initiatives focused on patient satisfaction, provider experience, and HR functions such as talent development, team engagement, and recruitment. Her ability to align service quality with employee performance ensures a consistent, compassionate experience at every level of care.
Known for her process-driven mindset and commitment to patient-centered care, Barbara is a key contributor to Dash Health’s mission of delivering reliable, responsive, and human-centered mobile diagnostics. She holds an Associate of Applied Science in Medical Technology and is certified as an MLT (ASCP).

Hector Torres
With over 25 years of experience at the intersection of technology and innovation, Hector Torres is a forward-thinking strategist and hands-on leader specializing in AI agent development, RAG systems, and intelligent automation. As Chief Technology Strategist at Dash Health Hector guides the company’s AI initiatives, from designing scalable architectures to integrating
AI into core operations.
Hector has held leadership roles as a CTO, Solutions Architect, and IT consultant, delivering high-impact software and hardware solutions across industries. He has led the development of AI-powered medical technologies, driven enterprise AI strategies, and successfully secured over $5M in funding through strategic partnerships and grants. His work includes building and deploying advanced AI agents, implementing large language model (LLM) reinforcement systems, and enhancing operational performance through automation.
With a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Science and a Master’s in Technology Commercialization from the University of Texas, Hector combines technical depth with entrepreneurial vision. He is passionate about turning complex business needs into powerful AI-driven solutions that create lasting value for patients, providers, and partners alike
